So this is a thing I bought:
It’s Monday now, and I had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend. Black Friday is more my style than the actual feast day, but special days aside, it was probably the best break I’ve had in a while. I got up early almost every day, but I also got to relax more than I have since before the semester started. I spent almost all my time playing Assassin’s Creed II on my laptop, and it was brilliant.
For once, I didn’t feel like I was wasting my time or like I should have been doing other things.
I really want to try to become a morning person. I feel so much more productive when I get up early and get a lot of stuff done in the morning than when I stay up late and get the same things done at night. Last night, I went to bed at 10 with the intention of waking up at 6 this morning to go to the gym and study before my class at 11. I ended up sleeping until 8:30, oops.
Clearly this is going to take a lot of work.
Bye bye relaxation! There are things I have to do tonight after work (I work till 6):
- Go to the gym (done!)
- Study for my 29 Nov. Japanese test (done!)
- Practice for my 29 Nov. voice lesson (just going to practice before my lesson)
With any luck (aka discipline), that list will be in order. If I want to start going to bed earlier, I need to get in the habit of doing my homework before other things! Especially when I have so many other things I want to do… I really need to play guitar more.
